I am a 62 yr old mother with a disabled daughter who is 31 yrs old. I lost my job in January 2009 after working there for 10 yrs. A new management company decided that the hotel I worked at did not need a director of housekeeping. Boy what a blow to me financially, spiritually and mentally. May daughter became disabled 6 yrs ago while attending her 3rd year of college. She has psuedo tumor cerebri (her body produces too much spinal fluid) which caused her brain to swell and it caused her to go blind in her right eye. She has had 32 shunts in her head and back along with 4 eye fenestration surgeries to try to release the pressure so that she can retain her sight in her left eye. She also has a pituitary tumor, addison's disease, hypo-thyroidism, adrenal disease, low blood pressure and polycystic ovaries. Through all of this she is a sweet person. I take her to doctors almost every week. Just a month ago my car stopped running because I need a fuel pump, I am behind in my mortgage and utility bills. I was also diagnosed with emphyzema a few months ago and I am trying to stay strong for her. Please pray for me. I need a blessing to continue to try to hold onto everything.
Today I am writing because I just found out that I need new wheel bearing on my left front of my car. My transmission is performing badly and my windshield is coming alose. I wish I knew where to get financial help from. I am so afraid of losing my home. I am two months behind in my mortgage and now another bill with my car. I wish I knew when this streak of bad luck will end. Thanks for listening. Anyone with any suggestions?
